Tried this place for the first time and it was great! Food was delicious and our order was out very quickly. Ordered steak fries, tacos de barbacoa and red enchilada plate. The red chile was just right! Definitely would recommend.
Glad we tried this place out. We were able to order through the phone, because the parking situation is horrendous. The restaurant is in an akwardly placed area that doesn't allow for proper parking so theres all these cars parked haphazardly all around the little place. Regardless of the situation, the service was good and the food was even better! My husband and daughter loved what they got (torta cubana and quesadilla with carne asada). My tacos de barbacoa were to die for. The salsa is LEGIT salsa, both the green and red were spicy and delicious. I'm a little sad they didn't have the red sauce for red enchiladas, I'm sure they would have been good! The only item that was "ok" was the chips and salsa, it was a few chips in a box. All in all, very good restaurant you have to check out if you are in Carlsbad. Make sure to call ahead!
This little place used to be a food truck but is not a brick and mortar building. I cannot tell you how good it is. It is an experience that you have to have yourself. I had the green chili burrito for lunch the first day I was in town and the next morning had the breakfast burrito with green chili. Two of the best burritos I've ever had. Nothing compares.
